How to Use This Scrabble Finder

  1. Enter your rack letters Type the letters on your tile rack (up to 7 letters).
  2. Add board letters (optional) Enter any letters already on the board that you can hook onto. This helps find words that extend existing plays.
  3. See all valid words Results are sorted by Scrabble score, showing the highest-value plays first. Each word shows its base score.

What dictionary does this use?

The ENABLE word list, containing over 168,000 valid words. This is widely accepted for casual Scrabble and online word games. For competitive tournament play, the official word lists (CSW for UK/International, TWL for North America) are the definitive references. some newer words may differ slightly.

How are Scrabble scores calculated?

Each letter has a point value (Q=10, Z=10, X=8, J=8, etc.). The score shown is the sum of all letter values in the word. Premium squares (double/triple letter/word) are not included, as they depend on board placement. The base score helps you quickly identify the most valuable words from your rack.

Can I enter blank tiles?

Yes. use a question mark ? to represent a blank tile. The finder will show all words possible with that blank acting as any letter. Blank tiles score 0 points in Scrabble, which is reflected in the results.

What about board letters?

Enter any letters already on the board that you want to play alongside. The finder will show words that combine your rack letters with board letters, which is essential for finding hook plays and extensions. This is where the really high scores come from.

Does it work offline?
